North Patagonia

North Patagonia is located between parallels 36 and 42, latitude south. It’s a region of huge lakes and forests…

The region is a spectacular area for backcountry skiing, with volcanoes’ scenery. Some of its 100 volcanoes are above the 3 000m (Lanin 3 776 m, Llaima 3 215 m, etc.).

North Patagonia is also the region of the Frey mountains and its great granite. A perfect option for rock climbers in the summer (november to february), when Chalten is wwwindy.

The Mount Tronador (3 491 m) and Lanín Volcano (3 776 m) are super objectives for ascents.

Also, it’s possible to organize wild treks of many days, as all over the Patagonia.

Climate of North Patagonia is better than South Patagonia‘s, so it increases the success rate of any adventure we’ll get into!
